I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to VDP Tours Management for arranging such a wonderful foreign tour. This was my first experience of an overseas trip, and it was fantastic. The accommodations in 3 star hotels were excellent, and the continental breakfasts, as well as the lunches and dinners in Indian restaurants, were very nice. All the sightseeing activities were wonderful.

Well the overall experience was great....the road travel was comforting and especially stay at Manali was awesome with great views. But food there was not to our liking. Shimla was also adventurous and beautiful with all the things beautifully planned so we didn't find it hectic. But stay wasn't great as we expected. Food was great there.

Best Time to Visit in Rajasthan

While Rajasthan is ideal for a visit across the year, whether from April to June (Summer), July to September (Monsoon), or October to March (Winter), here’s a detailed guide for you to decide what time suits you the best.

April to June (Summer)

While it can be extremely hot in the months of April to June with the temperature reaching its peak of 45°C, enjoying a trip to Rajasthan in this harsh climate can also be thrilling. With fewer people on the streets, fort and palace, you can experience the best without any overcrowding. However, we recommend a visit to Mount Abu to escape from the scorching heat and enjoy the serene views.

July to September (Monsoon)

If you want to witness the other side of Rajasthan, a lush and greener one, the month from July to September can be an ideal time. With mild rainfall, decrease in temperature, and off-season for travelling, it can be the best season for budget travellers.

October to March (Winter)

The peak season where the temperature has significantly decreased to around 20°C, it’s the best time for a trip to Rajasthan. With a cool and cozy environment, you can have a thorough visit to Rajasthan’s most famous places like Jaipur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, experiencing its fort and palace and UNESCO world heritage site.
